Don’t date the shrimp, stay single

Why do we compromise ourselves when dating?  Does it really have to take 100 treks around the mountain for some of us to have a light bulb come on?  I have made numerous attempts to slow down the dating process in hopes to protect my heart but all it did was give the dude more room to drag his feet and play the “patience” card.  When I tell you that there are men who optimize your “not” worrying about getting a text back, I’m not kidding.  It’s a heightened game to test if the female will give him playing room as he talks to other women, or remains lazy in his pursuit because he assumes his conquest will land him in the sack.  As long as you don’t press him for more time commitment, his intentions or whereabouts, he’ll keep you on the rolodex for a weekly appeasement.  Don’t fall for this shrimpy scandal ladies, especially if he leaves his phone at home “to concentrate” on conversation while in your presence.  If that doesn’t smell fishy to you then try eating some garlic and fart when he is around, you’ll know exactly how truthful he really is.
