I have seen plenty of people in power pitch their stories of success being forged through the pursuit of profit. I never like those people nor do I go along with status quo of admiration because they finally have a platform to preach from based on filling their bank accounts. Success is having your relationships in order first, honoring people for undeveloped talent or recognition and giving it to them through opportunity and learning together through a process of mistakes. The movie Moneyball is perfect for telling a story about true success built upon integrity, risk and passion without being motivated by money. I have observed a lot of nonsense in the business world, especially when those in authority demand respect without cultivating an atmosphere of encouragement. Brad Pitts character offers a breath of fresh air to business and playing the game of successful strategy as he accepts both mistakes and advantages as perfect opportunity for growth.
